Brief:

Develop branding for an annual runway education event showcasing 6-10 brands. Each brand is expecting to form a class embracing the runway theme and present 3-5 models in the show’s finale. The event’s purpose is to educate, network and inspire.

2020 theme: Reinventing the classics

Solution:

A large frustration for hair stylists can be the loss of creative freedom. Contrary to popular belief, most clients do not request a colorful masterpiece. Most are looking for something trendy, classic or upkeep on what they already have. So the question was, how to use the primary hair colors (Red, Blonde and Brunette) to inspire stylists? This inspired the 2020 theme of Reinventing the classics. The idea being to turn a typical client request of “blonde for the summer” or “brunette for the holidays” into a challenge instead of an eye roll.

Involvement:

I was the sole designer on this project which involved developing the logo, colors, textures and all supporting collateral.
